In 2026, Barford Tigers will celebrate a remarkable milestone – 60 years of sporting excellence, friendship, and community impact.

 Founded in 1966, Barford Tigers has grown from a local hockey club into a respected community institution, providing opportunities for generations of players, volunteers, families, and supporters across Birmingham. Over six decades, the club has built a proud legacy both on and off the pitch, inspiring participation, promoting wellbeing, and creating lifelong memories. 

To mark this special occasion, we are delighted to announce the Barford Tigers 60th Anniversary Dinner & Dance, taking place on Saturday 24th October 2026.

The evening will be an opportunity for past and present members, supporters, sponsors, partners, and friends of the club to come together and celebrate the people, achievements, and stories that have shaped Barford Tigers over the last six decades. From league successes and memorable matches to community initiatives and lifelong friendships, we will be reflecting on a journey that continues to make a positive impact across Birmingham and beyond. 

With our anniversary theme, “Diamonds Are Forever”, the event promises to be a fitting tribute to the enduring spirit, resilience, and ambition that have defined Barford Tigers since 1966.
